Occasionally we encounter a bath with a unique footprint that really has no potential for a better floorplan (without breaking the budget, moving walls around, etc...) When the existing tub stays in place, and the toilet drain is left in place, a significant set of costs is set aside.
In exchange, our client decided to put a little more into the fixtures and finishes; dual sinks, a granite topped vanity cabinet, added circular window, and cork flooring all contribute to the classy, unique beauty and stillness of this room.
As a bonus, all of the materials on this project are super-durable and low maintenance. This was an important consideration for our client who might be putting the house on the market after a few years.
